Benefit for Dan Ely

Our friend, Dan Ely, was recently diagnosed with lung cancer, and like many of us, does not have health insurance. Please join us in raising some much-needed funds for a friend in need.

Ken Club

We got a positive response for our longer set at O'Connell's... we'll be doing another long one Feb.28 at the Ken Club with our friends, Eight Minutes to Twilight.

No Cover. That means free. In fact, we'll give you an extra calendar day. Come on down.

Benefit for Fire Fighters

Matt in Nov, 2007 issue of the San Diego Troubadour

Now it's The Troubadour. People in this town sure are nice. Thank you Liz, Kent, Craig, and everyone who lent their comments. Now i'm all warm and fuzzy.

Still working on the CD. We were apparently too much rock for Berkley, and broke his studio. He had to upgrade everything. Of course, he's giggling like a kid on Christmas, and with more toys to play with, the release date has been pushed out to fall of 2022.

Incidentally, that's Year Zero to you Nine Inch Nails fans...

After One Year, More Recording!

We're not done yet!
Due to popular demand, and the fact that Jeff Berkley "promises" it won't delay the album. We've been persuaded to record "El Cajon". Although we've told people many times it was originally recorded by The Wreck.

“It's already been recorded” says Matt Silvia. “I can't see any reason for it.” regardless of what any of the mambers think the fans have spoken and will be adding this frenzied track to the album due out some time this decade. “What a waste of time and money” says Rob. “Rock Music is a fad”.

We shall see.

Matt in May 31, 2007 issue of the SD Reader

Pick up a copy of the May 31 issue of the San Diego Reader. There's a pleasant article about Matt "the human jukebox" Silvia (pg 94) Bring it along to our next gig and he'll autograph it for you.

We love you Matt. Keep up the good work. You make all of us sound good.

Yes, that is an old photo of him. Look at that guitar!

May the Rock Gods smile upon us

Schreyer Audio

Matt and John are back in the studio this weekend working on some more guitar tracks. The Rock Gods must really be happy with us because the tones they are getting are RIDICULOUS. It probably helps a lot to have our good friend Earl Schreyer loan us some of his hand made amps. Besides being a great bass player for Deadline Friday he's also one hell of an amp builder. Take a look at his work at Schreyer Audio.

In the studio with Jeff Berkley

Matt in the studio

June 1, 2006 marked the beginning of recording our first full length album. Jeff Berkley is behind the helm and we're very pleased to have him as part of the process, especially after our great experience recording The Cathryn Beeks Ordeal album Desert Music. Besides being a great producer he's also half of Berkley-Hart, one quarter of Citizen Band, and our good friend. Speaking of good friends. Tim Flack of Idynomite Media believes in this project so much he's putting out the CD on his label, he's also the guy behind the Ordeal's Desert Music CD. Buy that man a drink next time you see him, he's truly a patron of local music. We need more guys like you Timmy.

Jeffe tracking bass

Rob's drum tracking and Jeffe's bass tracks are complete and we've begun the long process of guitar tracking. I've heard some of the guitar work on Lover Girl, Holding Back the Rain, TV, and Every Moment and it's pretty damn good. No release date has been set. We're not going to rush the process because we want this to be YOUR favorite album as much as OURS. I'll try to post some more updates as the project goes on.

We make music, not clothes

t-shirt

We have a VERY limited amount of T-shirts available for sale at our shows for $10. Only men's styles are available in sizes S,M,L,XL. However, some of the more creative girls out there might want to cut one up to a unique style. Maybe we should have a contest for the coolest looking "modified" SweetTooth t-shirt?

mySpace

Just like every band out there we have a mySpace page. We accept all friend requests but prefer you become a MeatSpace friend and come out to one of our shows were we can shake your hand in person.
